Key Accountabilities:

Essential Responsibilities and Specific Duties:
- Project Management (proactive & reactive): provide relevant/actionable sensory support to regional multi-functional teams specifically on Beverage applications. Custom sensory programs in-line with business strategies and create a competitive advantage to our external customers. - Coaching & Training: coach the persons in charge of Panel Leading and Technical Support. Provide leadership, coach, mentor and develop them in order to increase their skills set and reach full potential. Train internal customers and maintain overall high quality of sensory regional work to enhance Givaudan’s leadership position. Train other regional sensory researchers in conducting complex design of experiments, statistical analyses and project management to develop internal skills. Become the person of reference on specific fields of expertise (physiology, psychology and/or statistics).
This post requires proven project management experience, communication and cross-functional team leadership. Must be able to design complex research studies with minimal instruction. Should have in-depth knowledge of descriptive analysis methodologies, consumer and difference tests. Must have very good statistical analysis skills (non-parametric, parametric, multivariate, experimental design) with a proven data interpretation knowledge and good basis in Psycho-physiology, with an excellent ability to communicate results (oral and written forms) to provide effective research guidance.
The ideal candidate will have a MS degree in Food Science, Psychology, Physiology, Statistics or related field. Ph.D. degree is a plus. 3 to 5 years of relevant experience. Fluency in English is required, Dutch is a plus. You must be enthusiastic, creative, curious, meticulous and a good team player.
