Betina Piqueras Fiszman

Wageningen University & Research, Department of Social Sciences, Suborganisation Marketing and Consumer Behaviour

Betina Piqueras-Fiszman is an Associate Professor in the Marketing and Consumer Behaviour group at Wageningen University, Netherlands. She earned her degree in Industrial Design Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de València, Spain, and conducted her postdoctoral research at the University of Oxford, UK.

Her research focuses on the role of the senses in product design to encourage healthier and more sustainable behaviors. To achieve this, she explores innovative approaches to understanding consumers’ food preferences, both explicit and implicit.

Patricia Silva

SAM Sensory and Marketing International, Barcelona, Spain

Patricia Silva has a strong background in consumer behavior, with over 15 years of experience as an international sensory and consumer researcher in FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods), perfumery & cosmetics, and personal & home care industries.

She holds a Ph.D. in Sensory Science and Consumer Behaviour from Wageningen University in the Netherlands, where she explored the sensory and emotional profiles evoked by wines and other beverages. Since 2012, she has worked in sensory and consumer science, gaining experience in both academic and industrial research.

Carlos Gomez

Global Consumer Research - dsm-firmenich

Carlos Gómez–Corona is Director of Consumer Research & Sensory at dsm-firmenich. His main responsibilities are to understand human perception of food products, savory flavours and ingredients. He leads the global sensory strategy for the Taste division.

Carlos Gómez–Corona obtained his master’s degree in Sensory & Consumer Research from the University of Burgundy, followed by a PhD in Consumer Research.

Christelle Porcherot

Christelle Porcherot is a Principal Scientist in the Science & Technology Division of dsm-firmenich, based in Geneva. With 25 years of experience in sensory and consumer research, she currently leads several research programs on emotion and cognition and collaborates with the University of Geneva.

She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Burgundy in Dijon, France, where she conducted her thesis on the effects of repeated exposure to novel flavors.

Christelle Porcherot

Lise Dreyfuss

SAM Sensory and Marketing International, Paris, France

Lise Dreyfuss holds a Master’s degree in Sensory Analysis from the University of Burgundy. She plays a leading role in the global standardization of sensory analysis as Chairwoman of the Sensory Analysis committees at AFNOR (French Standardization Association) and ISO (International Organization for Standardization).

Since 2005, she has also been an Associate Professor in Sensory and Consumer Sciences for Innovation at the University of Tours in France.

Katja Tiitinen is the Regional Director of Sensory & Consumer Insights EAME at Symrise. She earned her PhD in food chemistry from the University of Turku, Finland.

A seasoned leader with a passion for data-driven insights, she excels in building high-performing teams with diverse expertise. As a member of ESN’s Impact and Influence team, she contributes to innovative workshops designed for early-career professionals.
