ESN is excited to launch a new initiative celebrating outstanding student contributions in Sensory & Consumer Research.
This award recognises PhD students (and exceptionally motivated MSc students) who have already shared their research at conferences, meetings, on social media or within the wider community during the year. Rather than supporting conference attendance, the ESN Student Recognition Award highlights and celebrates the impact, ambition, and visibility of completed work.
Our goal is simple:
To shine a spotlight on emerging researchers who are shaping the future of sensory and consumer science, while increasing the visibility and reach of their work.
Each year, 2 selected students will receive recognition and a financial award of 1000 euros, with the opportunity for them to present their work at a future ESN meeting.
Call for applications
Each September, we will invite students to apply with a letter of motivation, and a 1-page summary of the research shared publicly, in any consumer-related conference, or beyond.
Submissions will be evaluated based on motivation, (personal) research ambition, originality of the research, and outreach so far. Make it stand out!
